National Flood Protection, Inc. installed Flood Logs on six openings at a protection height of 6 feet on this luxury apartment building in downtown Charleston. The largest city in South Carolina located next to the Atlantic Ocean, Charleston has a long history of flooding problems since it is surrounded by water and just a few feet above sea level. The city is subject to frequent flood events due to drainage issues and storm surge from hurricanes and other coastal storms.
